(McMinnville, Oregon, March 14, 2014) Transaction Tax Resources, Inc. (TTR) is proud to announce another industry first: the addition of population data to their sales and use tax rates package.

TTR compiled population information from the U.S. Census Bureau, then integrated it into its own tax rate location data to make tax planning easier.

Alex Bowling, Chief Technology Officer at TTR, had this to say: "Population lookup is a valuable addition to TTR's rates package. It allows our subscribers to view the population, by zipcode, in each jurisdiction in which tax is applied. This allows tax professionals to predict the impact that tax rate changes will have on their customers, and to evaluate high-risk areas for sales and use tax liability."
