The Louisiana Department of Revenue announced that its tax amnesty program is suspended from November 17, 2015 through November 30, 2015.

The program was suspended due to mistakes in information included in some program invitation letters. It will resume on December 1 and end on December 31, 2015. The Department will send new invitation letters to those affected by the mistake. The new invitations should be received by December 1.

Amnesty payments the Department received in the two days before the program's suspension will be applied to taxpayer accounts once the program resumes. Louisiana will not be offering another tax amnesty program until the year 2025.
