As of October 13, 2015, Vermont's click-through nexus law, originally passed in 2011, is now effective. Tax collection and remittance under this law will begin on December 1, 2015. The click-through nexus law affects out-of-state businesses that have agreements with residents to refer customers when the referrals led to sales in excess of $10,000 in the previous year.
