New Hampshire enacted the 2016-17 fiscal year budget bill. Among other things, the bill creates a tax amnesty program from December 1, 2015 to February 15, 2016. The program is for any taxes administered and collected by the Department of Revenue. The program relieves taxpayers of all penalties and of interest over 50% of the applicable interest rate for taxes that are paid in full during the program period. The amnesty applies to taxes that are due but not yet paid on or before February 15, 2016.
