FCC Reminds of Due Date for Annual Regulatory Fees

The FCC has released a public notice reminding regulated and licensed entities of the upcoming due date for annual regulatory fees. Regulatory fee payments must be RECEIVED at the Federal Communications Commission address in St. Louis, Missouri no later than 11:59 PM EST on September 13, 2012. Late payments will be assessed a 25 percent penalty. Interest and other fees may also be incurred. Payments should include the filer FCC Registration Number (FRN) for processing.

The FCC is required to collect regulatory fees by Congressional authority for recovery of regulatory costs associated with its enforcement, policy and rulemaking, user information, and international activities.
