The Washington Department of Revenue released updated guidance that provides tax reporting information for bed and breakfast houses, hotels, motels, RV parks, resorts, boarding houses, summer camps, and trailer camps.

The new guide provides information about online marketplaces and property managers. An online marketplace is an intermediary that connects guests with providers of lodging accommodations. The guide explains what to do when an online marketplace or property manager collects tax on behalf of a hotel, motel, or other provider of lodging accommodations.
