Ohio has announced that it will be the first state in the country to accept cryptocurrency for tax payments. The state will accept cryptocurrency payments through OhioCrypto.com.

Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency that OhioCrypto.com will currently accept, but the Treasurer's office is hoping to add more options in the future. There are 23 eligible taxes that can be paid by cryptocurrency at this time.

Tax payments can also be made by ACH credit, ACH debit, check, and money order.
