People can buy certain emergency supplies at a reduced tax rate during this holiday. These supplies include storm shutter devices, flashlights, gas tanks, and batteries.
The second holiday is a general sales tax holiday, which will be August 4th through August 5th this year. People can buy most items of tangible personal property at a reduced tax rate for this holiday.
The third holiday is the Second Amendment sales tax holiday, which will be from September 1st through September 3rd this year. Sales of firearms, ammunition, and hunting supplies will be taxed at a reduced rate for this holiday.
