Idaho Grants Tax Relief to Victims of Texas and Oklahoma Winter Storms

Mar 2nd, 2021

Idaho is extending deadlines to file and pay taxes for victims of recent Texas and Oklahoma winter storms. For taxpayers in Texas, deadlines for filing and paying taxes that fall from February 11, 2021, through June 14, 2021, are postponed until June 15, 2021. For taxpayers in Oklahoma, deadlines for filing and paying taxes that fall from February 8, 2021, through June 14, 2021, are also postponed until June 15, 2021.

The deadline extension covers all Idaho tax types, including sales tax, income tax, fuels tax, and income tax withholding. It applies to individuals and businesses in the disaster areas, as well as to those whose tax records are located in the disaster areas.

Taxpayers in other states impacted by the winter storms that receive similar FEMA disaster declarations will receive the same filing and payment relief.
