On November 2, 2010, Massachusetts will face ballot Question 3, the “3% Sales Tax Relief Act”.
If voters approve this measure, Massachusetts’ state sales and use tax rates will be reduced from 6.25 percent to 3 percent. If approved, this tax rate reduction would become effective January 1, 2011.
